Living the dream – currently on the Great Loop started May 25, 2023
Not on this trip, but for sure after that! We’ll only go as far as the CT River and stay in Deep River for a few days to visit with our daughter who just moved to CT, my sis and her family in CT and Camara family from RI. So maybe summer of 2024 on Block!
Great to finally meet you both after multiple “fly-bys” of Legacy in Eagle Cove. We’re (hopefully) a couple of years behind you on the Loop, so until then, we’ll just enjoy your blog. Safe travels.

Had hoped to get over to the Basin to say hi and give you a little something, but it was a crazy two days with Blue Angels! What a fantastic send off for you, that was nice of them! I met you in Bobcaygen (we spoke briefly when we docked our small runabout in front of your Fleming) and then passed you in our 50 foot Carver as you headed north towards San Souci.
I can’t believe I actually found your website and have now read all your blogs…. so well done and it is so amazing to read words describing our Canadian waterways in a manner that brings them to life….. we boat here all the time and take the beauty and serenity for granted.
I will continue to follow your travels and wish you safe passage on the rest of your journey. And I do hope the rib injury heals quickly….. it’s always easy to trip on a boat for no reason at all.
Thank you for allowing others to follow your venture……. and for some of us to hope that one day we can do this loop in a Fleming as well.
