First let me say we LOVED Canada! The Canadian side of Lake Ontario, the Georgian Bay, North Channel, the Canadian people…. All the natural beauty. Some of the boating was stressful with the waterways carved out of granite by the glaciers. Lots of rocks, so you really had to be on your game. Unfortunately, quite a few loopers suffered some sort of prop or shaft damage by touching bottom in some particularly shallow areas or perhaps wandering slightly out of the channel – it was very unforgiving.
Tom and Diane are loopers we first met in Cape May on our bikes, and then reconnected in Brewerton, NY on the Erie Canal. They hail out of FL and are looping on their 44’ Trawlercat.
Tom and Diane posted this beautiful but hilarious video that you must listen to with the sound on. This video is reposted with all credits to Tom and Diane, with their permission.

Rocks and trees and clear fresh water! My happy place! Sand, humidity and dirty salt water with sharks are not my happy place.
