Hailing out of Annapolis, Maryland, we took delivery of our 58′ Fleming named Legacy in June of 2020 after watching her build out for over 18 months. Our intent was to start the Great Loop in May of 2021 and “cross our wake” in about a year. COVID delayed our plans for 1 year since Canada was closed to US boats and that was too much to miss out on. We delayed a second year due to the declining health of our elderly golden retriever Stryker who passed away in December of 2022. We have enjoyed cruising the Chesapeake Bay and eastern seaboard with family and friends since moving to Maryland in 2002. May 25, 2023 is “go time” to start our adventure on The Great Loop!
Our Family
Our grown children Sarah (30) and Michael (28) enjoy cruising with us as often as they can. Having grown up on boats, they too share our love of the water and respect for the sea. We look forward to them joining us for certain legs of the Great Loop. Sarah (with her fur baby Churro) hails out of Deep River, CT while Michael hails out of Baltimore, MD.
